If you look to your right you will see that I've added a bookshelf with books that I have gotten or given as gifts that I really love.
No matter what the occasion is, Birthdays, Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, College, Goodbye Gifts, Thank you gifts... finding the perfect gift can be as easy as a trip to the bookstore! Or just a few clicks away :) barnesandnoble.com
I don't know about you? But there's something about the smell of a new book and the tightness of the pages, that makes me want to give it a good look before the cover or the spine gets its first bend.
(as I'm writing this I'm thinking maybe I'm just crazy! that's also a possibility)
I already posted here about an adorable baby gift I got from my two good friends.

Since I just celebrated my birthday I want to tell you about a book I received as a Bat- Mitzvah
present. It's called HaYom Yom, compiled by The Lubavticher Rebbe, with a daily thought of inspiration.
"In describing this work, Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak wrote: ..."A book that is small in format"..."but bursting with pearls and diamonds of choicest quality" ..."A splendid palace of Chasidism." The edition I received is translated in Hebrew- English and is a smaller travel sized one.
Well, I've been enjoying this book since I was 12 and have brought it along with me on various trips and to different countries. Besides for being short and easy to read, I have to say that each year I see the same words but learn something new about the meaning and it's relevance to my life!
I will tell you something else, besides for owning the book, I recently learned that you can Subscribe here to Receive a daily email of "Today's Day" so that way you can learn on the go... and its FREE!
Have you gotten any good books as a gift?

I got one for my Bas Mitzvah years ago! Great gift. I always go with books!
